Trump says ready for direct dialogue with Hezbollah if needed

US President Donald Trump said he was ready, if necessary, to hold direct dialogue with the leadership of Hezbollah, Report informs, citing US media.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in the Oval Office in Washington.
Trump said he would speak with Hezbollah if the Lebanese president asked him to do so.
He also said he had very good relations with the Syrian president, whom he praised for doing "an excellent job" and managing to unite Syria. Trump added that the Syrian leader had long been fighting Hezbollah.
