Trump says he would support revoking ABC and NBC broadcast licenses

US President Donald Trump said he would support revoking the broadcast licenses of American television networks ABC and NBC, accusing them of consistently criticizing him and promoting the interests of the Democratic Party, according to Report.

“Despite very high popularity, and although many believe the past eight months have been among the best in presidential history, dishonest outlets like ABC and NBC — the two worst and most biased networks — show negative news about me 97% of the time,” Trump wrote.

"Despite a very high popularity and, according to many, among the greatest 8 months in Presidential History, ABC & NBC FAKE NEWS, two of the worst and most biased networks in history, give me 97% BAD STORIES," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

"IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEY ARE SIMPLY AN ARM OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND SHOULD, ACCORDING TO MANY, HAVE THEIR LICENSES REVOKED BY THE FCC. I would be totally in favor of that because they are so biased and untruthful, an actual threat to our Democracy!!!" he said.

Trump also claimed the broadcasters do not pay millions of dollars in licensing fees for the use of public airwaves and insisted that ABC and NBC should be required to pay.
