Trump granted unconditional discharge in financial documents fraud case

A New York court has granted President-elect Donald Trump an unconditional discharge as punishment in the case of financial documents fraud involving the Trump Organization.
Report informs via TASS that the decision makes Trump the first US president to assume office with a criminal record.
According to the Constitution of the United States, there is no provision that bars individuals with criminal convictions from running for or holding the office of the president.
