Tokyo records highest daily coronavirus infection

In the last 24 hours, Tokyo has registered over 21.5 thousand confirmed coronavirus cases, Report informs, citing NHK.
This is 4,000 more than the previous record set on Friday.
On the last day of January, 85,000 people contracted the virus in Japan, the highest daily rate throughout the pandemic.
