Third person dies from legionnaires’ disease in New York

A third person has died in New York City from Legionnaires’ disease, also known as legionellosis.
Report informs via NBC that the outbreak was first detected on July 25. Since then, three people have died, and 67 others have been diagnosed with the disease.
The department emphasized that individuals in affected areas who have developed flu-like symptoms since late July should seek medical attention immediately.
