Taiwan rejects China's aid offer

The rulers of the island of Taiwan rejected China's aid offer, reporting that they did not consider it as significant, Report informs with reference to TASS.
As indicated in the statement of Taiwan's Committee on China, the committee expressed its gratitude to China for its attention and noted that there is no need for help from the mainland after the earthquake.
Deputy Director of the Information Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China stated that the Chinese central government is following the situation and is ready to provide assistance to the island.
On April 3, the magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit Hualien County at earthquake struck at 07:58 a.m. Beijing time (GMT+8) and was felt all across the island.
The death toll from a powerful earthquake that struck Taiwan has risen to 4, with almost 97 people injured.
