Sweden pledges over $150M in military support for Ukraine

Sweden will allocate SEK 1.5 billion ($157 million) for military capabilities for Ukraine, which will include barrels for the Archer self-propelled artillery system (SAU) and beyond, according to the Swedish Defense Minister, Pål Jonson, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
"The government has made the decision to allocate 1.5 billion SEK from support package 18 & 19 towards new military abilities for Ukraine. It consists of over 10 new Archer artillery barrels, long-range strike and underwater capabilities, as well as more logistical support," the minister said on X.
He added that Archer has demonstrated its effectiveness in Ukraine, and therefore, new artillery barrels are needed.
