Starmer promises swift justice for rioters and online instigators

Participants in the ongoing mass riots across various cities in the United Kingdom will regret their actions, according to a statement by Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed to the nation.

According to Report, Starmer's speech was broadcast by the British television channel Sky News.

The Prime Minister emphasized that he is not afraid to call the riots what they are: organized, violent, far-right thuggery. Starmer guaranteed that active participants in the riots, as well as those fueling the situation on the internet, will regret their actions. He stressed the need for immediate punishment for all those violating the law.

This comes after the UK Home Office allocated £30 million for enhanced protection of mosques amid the protests. The decision follows a series of attacks on mosques and Muslim communities during the unrest.
