Stadler to invest in establishment of Regional Service Center in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Switzerland's Stadler Rail Group signed an agreement on the provision of railway vehicle repair, maintenance and consulting services, Report informs citing the Azerbaijan Railways.

According to the agreement signed by ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov and Stadler Rail Group Vice President Benjamin Niederhauser, a Regional Service Center will be built in Boyukshor town and Stadler will also invest in the construction of the center.

Azerbaijan Railways said that the establishment of such a unique enterprise in the territory of Azerbaijan will enable the large-scale repair of Stadler's rolling stock operating in neighboring countries in the region.
