South Korean Foreign Ministry: 19 more citizens evacuated from Iran

South Korea evacuates its citizens from Iran and Israel, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement, Report informs via Yonhap agency.
"Nineteen South Koreans, including family members of embassy staff, left Iran and safely arrived in neighboring Turkmenistan by land. Among the evacuees were one administrative staff member of the South Korean Embassy in Iran and five family members of embassy staff. They arrived in the Central Asian country on Saturday afternoon," the statement notes.
The Foreign Ministry noted that since the beginning of the conflict escalation on June 13, a total of 56 South Koreans, including Iranians who are their family members, have been evacuated from Iran.
In addition, more than 40 South Korean citizens have also been evacuated from Israel.
