Significant cocaine shipment from US to Armenia intercepted

A shipment of cocaine worth over $500,000 has been intercepted en route from the US to Armenia, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to the information from the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, the illicit substance was discovered concealed among garments and footwear within a parcel.
Subsequent searches conducted at the residences of the implicated individuals yielded additional quantities of cocaine. The operation culminated in the apprehension of two suspects, who are now in custody due to the narcotics trafficking incident.
