Russia strikes Ukrainian military airfield

A massive strike was carried out on a military airfield in the Rivne region of Ukraine, Report informs, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

This strike was one of the retaliatory measures in response to the Ukrainian attacks on Russian military airfields.

In turn, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Monday night that a Russian military plant in Cheboksary had been struck.

"As part of reducing the enemy's ability to produce air attack vehicles, on the night of June 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the production facilities of VNIIR-Progress JSC in the city of Cheboksary, Chuvashia," the report said.

The plant produces strike UAVs and Comet adaptive antennas used in high-precision weapons systems for the Russian Armed Forces.
