Putin departs from Magadan to Anchorage for summit with Trump

A Russian aircraft carrying President Vladimir Putin has departed from Magadan en route to Anchorage, where his meeting with US President Donald Trump is set to begin.
Report informs via Russian media that, the president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin that the punctual departure from Magadan is tied to the fact that the president is scheduled to land exactly at 11:00 a.m. local time, where he will be met at the aircraft by Donald Trump. The meeting at the airplane stairs had been prearranged.
During the flight to Alaska, Putin will be working on materials covering various topics for the upcoming summit—ranging from the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine to issues straining Russian-American relations. According to Peskov, the agenda includes a wide range of topics, including potential economic cooperation projects, as well as regional and international issues.
