Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who will arrive in Russia on an official visit, will hold talks on January 17, Report informs via Interfax.
According to Report, citing Interfax, this was announced by the Kremlin press service.
"The discussions are expected to cover prospects for further expansion of bilateral cooperation, including trade and investment, transport and logistics, and humanitarian spheres, as well as current regional and international agenda items," the Kremlin's press service said in a statement.
Following the talks, Putin and Pezeshkian will sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran, and will make statements for the media, the press service reported.
