Warsaw police won’t allow protesting farmers on tractors into the city, Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said, Report informs referring to the Polish Press Agency (PAP).
“Tractors will not drive through the city center, because there is a ban. The law will be respected. Everything is clear on this issue. The police will comply with the law,” he noted.
Polish farmers are planning a major protest in Warsaw on March 6. Some of them intended to come to the capital on their tractors. The main demands of the protesters are to stop the import of agricultural products from Ukraine into Poland and abandon the environmental plans of the EU (the so-called Green Deal), which involves achieving zero emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.
