Podolyak: Russia loses 800-1100 soldiers in Ukraine every day

Russia loses 800-1,100 soldiers daily in Ukraine, Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Mykhailo Podolyak said in an interview with Report.

Podolyak noted that the quality of preparation and planning of operations today is entirely different.

"There are supply problems, but we have recently noted a lack of mathematically verified amount of consumables, shells, primarily mines 120, 80 calibers. It is necessary to solve the problem of supply," he said.

The head of the President's Office stressed that the quality of coordination of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is much better than a year or even six months ago.

"Of course, today, we already have a more effective containment of the forces of the Russian Federation many times greater in quantitative terms in the same Luhansk, Uhledar, Lyman, Marinka and Bakhmut directions. There is a fairly effective, clear-cut, maneuverable defense, and we have much fewer resources and means, but we still effectively hold the defense for 5-6 months already.

Another example is that the number of destroyed manpower and equipment of the Russian army has increased significantly. For example, before this stage of the war, Russia lost from 200 to 300 people a day, but now it loses an average of 800 to 1,100 people a day, which speaks of the quality of work of the Ukrainian army," Podolyak added.
