PM: France's rearmament cannot be carried out at expense of other sectors

France's rearmament and increased investment in the defense sector cannot be carried out at the expense of other sectors, French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou said in an interview with Europe 1 radio, Report informs.

"We cannot completely forget all other challenges for the sake of the challenges in the defense sector. France cannot protect itself without defense, but it cannot defend itself without being strong, and this strength is in all areas that we cannot ignore: for example, education. If the new generations are not properly educated, we cannot be a strong nation," the prime minister said.
