Plane crash in Thailand kills at least five

Thailand's Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) said that at least five people were killed and one injured in a plane crash in the morning of April 25 near the beach resort area of Hua Hin, Report informs via VNA.
The 191 Emergency Centre said the incident occurred at 8:15 am local time. The aircraft, carrying five people, crashed into the sea off the Gulf of Thailand near Baby Grande Hua Hin Hotel in Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province, about 8km from Hua Hin town center and close to Hua Hin airport.
The aircraft involved was a DHC-6-400 Twin Otter, which was taking off and carrying a group for parachute training at the time of the accident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, while rescue teams continue search and recovery efforts at the scene.
