Peskov: Putin and Trump failed to agree on meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump failed to agree on a meeting during a telephone conversation on June 4, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs via Ria Novosti.
"There was no agreement on a meeting because there is a common understanding among the heads of state that a meeting is necessary, but it must be properly prepared, and there must be significant results of such preparation so that these results can be recorded at the highest level," Peskov said.
At the same time, he emphasized that the conversation between the two presidents was "constructive." Peskov added that Putin and Trump discussed many issues that play an important role on the agenda.
