Peru recalls ambassador to Venezuela for consultations

The Peruvian government has decided to recall its ambassador to Venezuela for consultations, Peruvian Foreign Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea wrote on X, according to Report.
“Against the background of the official statements of the electoral authorities of Venezuela, it was decided to immediately recall the ambassador of Peru to this country for consultations,” the Peruvian top diplomat said.
