Pentagon chief says US defense budget in 2025 will amount to $841B

The US defense budget in 2025 will amount to $841 billion, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin said, Report informs via Pravda.

According to him, speaking at a forum organized by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, this should help the American military "remain the most powerful fighting force in the world."

"The latest draft on national defense appropriations provides for a historic 841 billion to finance the ministry," Austin was quoted as saying by TASS.

At the end of October, the publication Responsible Statecraft reported that the United States may be left without aviation and navy.
