The official video featuring the opening ceremony for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games has been removed from the event's official website and YouTube channel.
According to Report that quotes Anne Descamps, the Communications Director of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee, the removal is due to geo-blocking, a term primarily associated with restricting access to premium multimedia content, such as films and television shows, on the internet for copyright and licensing reasons.
