Over 100 flights canceled or delayed in New Delhi due to thick fog

Thick fog that once again blanketed New Delhi on January 17 night affected at least 120 domestic and international flights flying into and out of the Indian capital, Report informs referring to TASS.
A total of 53 flights were cancelled, the rest were postponed. In heavy fog conditions, visibility during the morning hours was less than 50 meters. This was also affected by poor air quality.
Meteorologists are forecasting cold weather and fog in the National Capital Region for the rest of this week. Temperatures in New Delhi drop to 2-4 degrees, which becomes a serious test for local residents.
