US Ambassador to France Charles Kushner has sent a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron, criticizing him for insufficient efforts in combating antisemitism in the country.
According to AFP, cited by Report, the ambassador expressed concern over the sharp rise of antisemitism in France.
Kushner stated that “not a day goes by” without an attack on Jews in the streets or acts of vandalism targeting synagogues, schools, or Jewish-owned businesses.
Earlier, Israel’s Ambassador to Paris, Joshua Zarka, had also raised similar concerns, noting that Jews in France “do not feel safe.”
