Israel will conduct large-scale exercises to prepare for possible earthquakes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his Telegram channel, Report informs.
“Today, I convened an inter-ministerial commission on emergency preparedness for a possible earthquake in Israel. In November, we will conduct large-scale exercises, improve the ability of the population to receive early warning, and work to strengthen buildings located in the most dangerous places,” the message says.
Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office reported that the head of government held the first meeting of the commission of ministers on civil society emergency preparedness in Jerusalem.
