Netanyahu: Israel to act vigorously to prevent Iran from gaining foothold in Syria

Israel will take action and act vigorously to prevent Iran from gaining a foothold in Syria militarily, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the weekly meeting of the Israeli government, Report informs referring to TASS.

“We will take vigorous action to prevent the Iranian military from gaining a foothold in Syria and elsewhere, and we will not wait,” he said.

In addition, Israel will continue to develop relations with Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan and seek normalization with the Arab countries of the region.
