NATO Secretary General: Alliance countries must prepare for war

NATO countries must increase their military spending, and the best way to prevent war is to prepare for it, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated, Report informs.

Rutte made the announcement today in Brussels at the opening of the NATO Military Committee meeting at the level of Chiefs of Staff.

"To prevent war, we must prepare for it, and further strengthen our defense by increasing defense spending and defense production," he noted.
