Elon Musk, who heads the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has drawn attention to the presence of millions of people aged 120 to 369 in the US Social Security Database, Report informs.
"According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security," Musk wrote on X.
The table shows that the social security database still formally lists two people aged 240-369 as living, nearly 3,000 people aged 200-229, and about 8.9 million people aged 120-199.
DOGE's official X account commented on Musk's post, and the agency indicated that it would look into the matter.
