Over 50 aftershocks recorded in Kamchatka

More than 50 aftershocks, most of them imperceptible, have occurred in Kamchatka following an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.7, according to Report.
"More than 50 aftershocks have been recorded since the quake at 11:24 local time (02:24 Moscow time), some of which were felt," the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences said.
Preliminary information indicates that 2,700 people were evacuated following the earthquake.
