Moldova’s Chargé d’Affaires summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry

Moldova’s chargé d’affaires in Russia, Alexandru Chetraru, was summoned to Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Report informs, citing Russian MFA.
According to MFA’s statement, Chetraru was informed of concerns regarding the potential deployment of F-16s, provided to Ukraine, at Moldovan airfields.
"We call on Moldova to remain neutral and not to take steps that could lead to the escalation of the crisis in Ukraine," the ministry stated.
