Moldovan President Maia Sandu accused Russia of plans to destabilize the situation in Moldova ahead of the presidential elections, which will be held in November 2024, Report informs.
“The Kremlin will continue to try to destabilize the situation [in Moldova]. Most likely, they will begin closer to spring. They will use people who are in Moldova. Perhaps they will change tactics. We must learn lessons from local elections. It is necessary to analyze the situation and take action to protect citizens' votes and democratic elections,” the Moldovan leader said in an interview with PRO-TV.
