Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Nicolae Popescu has resigned, Report informs referring to TASS.
“I am resigning as deputy prime minister and foreign minister after successfully fulfilling the foreign policy goals set by the country’s President Maia Sandu, and at this stage, I need a pause,” Popescu said at a press conference.
He added that after leaving office he will continue to support the government and its team in the process of European integration.
