Mikayil Jabbarov: ECO Business Forum brought together over 200 participants

The 6th Business Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), held in Shusha on July 2, brought together more than 200 participants, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at the 17th ECO summit held in Khankendi, Report informs.
According to Jabbarov, the forum has become an important platform for strengthening regional economic cooperation through investment, trade and innovation within the framework of the ECO:
"The event focused on unleashing the region’s economic potential by deepening cross-sector collaboration, improving infrastructure connectivity and promoting sustainable, inclusive business models. Heads of national chambers of commerce and industry presented reports outlining prospects for trade development, investment attraction and economic recovery in their countries. Speakers emphasized the need to strengthen public-private dialogue, expand cross-border trade infrastructure and improve the transparency of the investment climate.
"Particular attention was paid to digital tools such as centralized business directories and regulatory platforms, which, according to participants, play a key role in ensuring access of small and medium enterprises to regional markets."
The minister also emphasized that 20 specialized meetings in B2B and B2G formats were held within the framework of the forum, which contributed to active interaction between companies, government agencies and development institutions.
"These meetings allowed us to establish new business connections, discuss investment opportunities and exchange views on current market trends," he said.
