In a recent development, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed regret over the ‘inflammatory’ statements issued by Jordan amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Report informs.
The Israeli Ministry emphasized the importance of its relationship with Jordan while denying allegations of intentionally targeting civilian infrastructure, asserting that Hamas is using civilians as human shields and exploiting hospitals and ambulances for militant activities.
"Israel's objective is to eliminate Hamas' terrorist infrastructure, and Israel has no intention of harming the civilian population or deporting it. Hamas is responsible for the harm caused to innocent people and for the situation in Gaza today," Spokesperson of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lior Haiat said on X.
