Merz discusses Middle East policy with Macron and Starmer

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Report informs via TASS.

During the conversation, the situation in the Middle East and the political course for the region were discussed.

"On July 26, I had a telephone conversation with the French President and the British Prime Minister, during which we discussed our course in the Middle East. There was significant agreement with Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer. We will take further steps in very close coordination in the coming days," Merz said.
