Media: Russia may launch nuclear attack on NATO countries

Analysts at Rand Corporation, a US-based research center that fulfills orders of the Pentagon, say that Russia can launch a nuclear strike on Europe, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
According to the information, Russia may decide to "horizontally escalate" the conflict in Ukraine and strike at the European members of NATO.
The inevitability of NATO's direct military intervention in the war in Ukraine may prompt Russia to take such a step.
