Brazilian President Lula da Silva plans to discuss the potential peaceful settlement in Ukraine with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, during his visit to Russia in May, Report informs via TASS.
The Brazilian leader emphasized that he intends to discuss the settlement in Ukraine during his visits to Russia and China. "At these meetings, I will discuss the issue of peace [in Ukraine]," the president said at a press conference following his state visit to Vietnam. "We (Brazil and China - TASS) expect the start of the negotiation process [between Russia and Ukraine]," he added.
