A comprehensive combat readiness check for Belarusian Armed Forces began on the orders of President Aleksandr Lukashenko on March 24, Report informs via Belta.
"The check is comprehensive and involves various forces and resources.<..> In addition, attention will be paid to the professional training of the command staff, capable of managing their subordinate units while performing training and combat tasks," emphasized Igor Demidenko, the first deputy secretary of the State Security Council.
He added that after the check, a thorough analysis would be conducted, and its results would be taken into account when preparing the Armed Forces.
