Lebanon launches over 180 rockets and drones into Israel

Over 180 rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Lebanon have crossed into Israeli territory in the past 48 hours, resulting in one Israeli being injured, according to the press service of Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Report informs via TASS.

“On August 20, there were more than 130 launches, and on August 21, there were over 50 launches. These include missiles and drones that crossed the border. Many of these rockets and drones were intercepted by the air defense system. However, some reached Israeli settlements, causing fires and direct hits on houses. One Israeli sustained moderate injuries today,” the press service noted.

The army’s press service also pointed out that “many settlements in northern Israel are currently uninhabited” due to evacuations that took place 10 months ago.
