Large number of ballistic missiles launched from Yemen towards Israel – UPDATED

Yemen’s Houthis say they launched a large number of ballistic missiles and drones towards Israel, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

“This operation is the third targeting Israel, with more to come.”

The Houthis say they will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops.

Israel’s military said on Tuesday it used an “Arrow" aerial defense system for the first time in the war to intercept a surface-to-surface missile fired from the Red Sea region, as tensions surge amid the war with Hamas in Gaza, Report informs, citing Al Arabiya.

“A surface-to-surface missile was fired toward Israeli territory from the area of the Red Sea and was successfully intercepted by the ‘Arrow’ aerial defense system,” the military said in a statement.

The Israeli Air Force also scrambled jets following the detection of the missile.
