Japan logs record new coronavirus cases for 4th day in row

Japan has seen its highest daily tally of coronavirus cases for the fourth day in a row, Report says, citing TASS.
According to the NHK channel's calculations, at least 15,645 new cases of infection were detected in Japan over the past day, which was a new record. According to the metropolitan administration, Tokyo logged a record 4,566 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past day.
On Friday, Japan crossed the barrier of 1 million people infected during the entire time of the pandemic, while the death toll reached 15.2 thousand. About 853 thousand infected people have recovered, more than 750 patients are now in critical condition.
