Japan condemns Israeli strike on Iran

The Japanese government condemns Israel's strike on Iran at a time when diplomatic efforts are underway to resolve Iran’s nuclear issue, Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya said, Report informs via TASS.
"It is extremely regrettable that military means were used while diplomatic efforts toward a peaceful resolution of Iran's nuclear issue — primarily negotiations between the USA and Iran — are ongoing," he said at a press conference, adding that Japan condemns actions that contribute to an escalation of tensions.
