Italian Embassy in Damascus looted amidst Syria's ongoing turmoil

Unknowns have looted the Italian Embassy building in Damascus, the nation's capital. Report informs, citing the Russian media outlets, that the assailants not only stole various items from the embassy premises but also hijacked three diplomatic vehicles.

Eyewitnesses have revealed that several other buildings belonging to foreign missions in Damascus' government quarter have also been targeted by looters.
