Israeli air force, navy attack Syrian air defenses

Israeli warplanes and ships have carried out projectile strikes on 12 artillery batteries of Syria’s air defense and early-warning radars over the past several hours, according to Al Mayadeen, Report informs via TASS.

According to the TV channel, Israel’s aviation attacked military targets primarily located in Syria’s coastal regions between Tartus and Latakia.

Additionally, air raids were carried out on the Syrian army’s munitions depots to the east of Tartus (220 kilometers from Damascus). Eyewitnesses reported major explosions in bombarded areas.

According to Al Mayadeen, the attack has resulted in casualties and their number is being established.
