Israel hits target near Damascus presidential palace

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have issued a joint statement announcing that Israel had struck a target near the presidential palace in Damascus, Report informs via The Times of Israel.

“This is a clear message to the Syrian regime. We will not allow forces to be sent south of Damascus or any threat to the Druze community,” they say in the statement.
