Ireland welcomes peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Ireland congratulated Azerbaijan and Armenia on the initialing of the historic peace agreement, Report informs, citing the Irish Foreign Ministry.

The ministry emphasized that Ireland highly values this important step taken by both countries toward lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

“We congratulate Armenia and Azerbaijan on the initialing of the agreement. Ireland, together with its European Union partners, is ready to support its implementation,” the statement said.
