Iran's new president signals readiness for dialogue with West

Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced his readiness for negotiations to soften relations with the West, Report informs via IRIB TV.
Pezeshkian made the announcement during his speech at the inauguration ceremony.
"We call on Western countries to understand the necessity of building relations based on mutual respect and equality. We are prepared to enter into negotiations to reduce tensions with states that have yet to fully grasp Iran's position in the world."
On July 30, the inauguration of Iran’s newly elected President, Masoud Pezeshkian, was held in the parliament building in Tehran.
