IDF strikes Hamas weapons facility in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out an airstrike on a weapons manufacturing facility belonging to the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza, according to an official statement from the IDF press service, cited by Report.

The military emphasized that measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians prior to the strike, including evacuation warnings, the use of precision-guided munitions, and the collection of additional intelligence.

“In the Daraj-Tuffah area of Gaza City, troops detected 10 militants in their operational zone. Following rapid identification, the Israeli Air Force struck the terrorists,” the statement said.

Additionally, in the northern Gaza Strip, an IDF unit neutralized a mortar launcher used to shell Israeli forces.
