Since June 13, the Israeli Air Force has carried out more than 1,100 airstrikes on various targets in Iran as part of an ongoing military operation, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Effie Defrin said during a press briefing, according to Report.
"We are acting systematically to neutralize the nuclear threat," Defrin stated.
He noted that the strikes have caused "significant and escalating damage" to Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure and air defense systems.
Defrin also reported that Iran launched approximately 30 ballistic missiles toward Israel overnight. The missiles were fired in two volleys, with the majority intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
