Hungary blocks EU sanctions against 27 Russian individuals and organizations

Hungary has blocked the implementation of European Union (EU) sanctions against 27 individuals and organizations in Russia, said Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, Report informs via TASS.
According to the foreign minister, Patriarch Kirill was also included in the list.
Szijjarto also noted that the 16th sanctions package against Russia provides exceptions for Hungary in the use of Russian oil and petroleum products.
"This sanctions package contains certain concessions for Hungary. We managed to ensure that the 16th sanctions package allows the use of Russian petroleum products in Hungary. This will significantly increase Hungary's energy security," he said.
